The english channel holds an abudance of wrecks from old fishing vessels, cargo, world war ships aswel as aeroplanes and submarines along with containers helicoptors along with many other objects that form wreckage.

Brixham has a long term history with wreck angling and is also the port which holds the massive 133lb 4oz British Conger eel record. Accompany this with Cod, Pollock, Bass, Ling, Whiting and Pouting, then a days wrecking can be great fun.

Both inshore and mid channel wrecks are accessible to Spot On.



The famous Skerries bank offers some great Plaice fishing along with Rays, Turbot, Bullhuss, Gurnards, Dogfish and whiting to name a few.

The Skerries bank from Brixham is around Berry head and a short scenic steam along the coast.

Bait can be arranged if required.

Channel Islands

Spot on is happy to offer channel island trips to Alderney or Guernsey where you can fish mid channel wrecks and reefs aswel as around the islands for Turbot and Brill, along with Bass and Bream which makes for even more great variety.
